What’s Next?

So, what’s next for me? My short-term goals involve exploring various areas as quickly as possible to determine if I have an interest in them and if I’d like to pursue them as a career. Since I’m just starting out, I want to see how broad my interests can be. After I graduate, I’d like to enter the workforce because of my own curiosity. I want to discover if graphic and web design are genuinely the right fit for me or if they are merely stepping stones toward my broader objectives.

Applying Locally

I intend to begin my job search locally. Sometimes people dream of going far away but overlook opportunities close to home. I plan to stay in Montreal, unless I find a compelling reason to move, such as a course or job that’s only available elsewhere. While I don’t have immediate plans to move, it’s something on my bucket list, and I aspire to do it within the next five years. Moving would contribute to my personal growth and independence. Nevertheless, my initial focus is on exploring opportunities in Montreal to find the right fit.

Not sure, but not stressed.

So, what am I looking for? I suppose I’m seeking a workplace where I can fully unlock my creativity, a place that’s friendly and welcoming, but also somewhat competitive to keep me motivated. I thrive on challenges and engagement in my work. I’m still uncertain whether I’d prefer a career more centered on photography, illustration, or web design. I’ll find out eventually and make that decision based on what I find most appealing in the actual workforce.
